About Wonders
Wonders English Academy focuses on English language learning through novels and classic literature for elementary school students. At Wonders, you'll teach critical reading and thinking skills not just through reading, but also through speach and debate as well as project-based learning. Our in-house curriculum also provides a fun and interactive way for students to put what they've learned into practice.

Our Curriculum

We offer two main programs; our regular program is based on critical reading and comprehension and our second program is designed specifically for students who are going to enter an international school. Our curriculum is developed in-house and we use a variety of North American textbooks and chapter books.

In the regular program, you will teach a variety of literature, including nonfiction and fiction books to elementary students. Lower level students learn through picture-based storybooks and as levels progress, students move to chapter books such as Roald Dahl and the 13-Storey Treehouse stories.

You not only help students understand the story, but you also teach them about the author and the underlying themes of the books. You will guide students through story summarization, comprehension questions, and story-based projects in class.

In our international school preparation program, you will teach students using North American curriculum. You may teach speech and debate, science, history, math, or project-based classes. These classes are designed to help students learn necessary skills such as logic and problem solving skills.
