MICA International Scholars, an accredited international school, is currently looking for teachers for multiple subjects for the 2021-2022 school year!
Here are the positions currently available at MICA for August!
1. LOWER ELEMENTARY HOMEROOM TEACHER
MICA is seeking a highly organized and professional candidate to serve as an Elementary school Homeroom Teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience either taking or teaching from a North American style curriculum. You will be responsible for teaching a variety of subjects such as: math, science, social studies, history, and language arts.
2. MUSIC TEACHER
MICA is seeking a highly organized and professional candidate to serve as an Elementary, Middle school and High school Music Teacher. The right candidate will be familiar with a variety of musical instruments and will have experience helping organize concerts and performances.
3. PE TEACHER
MICA is seeking an active and enthusiastic candidate to serve as an Elementary, Middle school and High school Physical Education Teacher. The right candidate will be active during their daily lives and be able to share their healthy living with students.
4. MIDDLE SCHOOL SUBJECT TEACHER
MICA is seeking a subject teacher to teach Middle school students Math or Science and Writing, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. The right teachers will be passionate about teaching and be able to help students fulfill the U.S. Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
5. ELL TEACHER
MICA is looking for an experienced teacher to help English Language Learners across a variety of ages and levels improve their reading, listening, writing, and speaking. As an ELL teacher, you will have the opportunity to help students grow and become confident in their English language skills.
6. ACADEMIC DIRECTOR
MICA is seeking an academic director with experience overseeing and implementing curriculum, managing teachers, and consulting with parents. As an academic director, you will work closely with MICA's administration to help students reach their learning standards, communicate with parents, and support teachers.
7. ART and IT TEACHER
MICA is seeking an art and IT teacher to teach a variety of art mediums and basic computer skills. As an art and IT teacher, you will be working with students from grade 1 to grade 12 to help them meet the U.S. CCSS through learning.
