1. Roles and Responsibilities

WCK English is looking for qualified candidates to serve as a Kindergarten teacher. You will be responsible for teaching a variety of subjects in English to students from ages 3-7 years old.  The perfect candidate will work well with young children as you will need to help them with other tasks such as going to the bathroom, helping with meal time and helping them with their school supplies.
 

You will be responsible for the following: 

• Plan, prepare and teach lesson entirely in English
• Help students with tasks other than teaching
• Provide progress reports for parents

2. Candidate Qualifications

We are not hiring candidates outside of Korea.

MUST currently be in Korea

E-2 Visa Holders:

• MUST be a citizen of the U.S. or Canada

F-series Visa Holders:

• We are currently taking applications from F-2, F-5, and F-6 visa holders
• F-series visa holders must have their diploma apostilled and their nationwide criminal background check READY TO GO

3. Visa Sponsorships

• We sponsor E-2 visas.

4. Working Conditions

Training Dates: 1st week of March

Working Hours: 8:40 AM-5:45 PM

Lunch Time: 12-1PM (Lunch is provided and you will be eating with your students)

Students per Class: 7-14 students (varies depending on the age group)

Age Level: 3-7 years old

Korean Co-teacher: Will be present in classes

Number of Current Foreign Teachers: 3

5. Salary and Benefits

Salary: 2.1-2.3 Million KRW (Negotiable upon experience)

Insurance and Financial: Insurance and pension will be matched by employer

Contract Completion Bonus: Yes

Vacation: 10 days plus Korean National Holidays

Housing: Studio Housing or housing allowance provided
