Job Description
1. Role and Responsibilities:
GIA Micro School is seeking a highly organized and qualified candidate to serve as a Kindergarten Homeroom teacher. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and have experience working with young students, specifically that they either possess a teaching license or certificate and have previous teaching experience.
The ideal candidate will have dedication and passion for the individualized need of students as well as an appreciation for diversity with respect for students needs by differentiating instruction. As GIA Micro School is an International School, a variety of core subjects are taught to students and the curriculum is individualized to each student.
The core classes you will be teaching are: language arts, math, natural and social science, foreign language, and history. You will be in charge of teaching Kindergarten students.
GIA does like to have in-person interviews so you must be able to go into the school and speak with them regarding the position.
2. Candidate Qualifications:
E-2 Visa Holders:

4 year Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university

Must be a citizen from the USA or Canada

Must currently be in Korea!

Candidates with Teaching Certificates and/or previous teaching experience preferred

Teachers with a Christian background preferred
F Series Visa Holders

- MUST have your apostilled diploma and nationwide criminal background check ready-to-go!
3. Visa Sponsorships
We sponsor E-2 visas.
4. Working Conditions
Training Dates: 2/25-2/26
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Teaching Hours: 8 hours per day
Class Length: 50 minutes
Lunch Time: 11:50 AM - 12:50 PM
Age Level: 6-7 years old
5. Salary and Benefits
Salary: 2.2 Million KRW (Negotiable Upon Experience)
Insurance and Financial: Matched by employer
Contract Completion Bonus: Provided upon completion of one year contract
Vacation: 10 days off in addition to Korean National Holidays
Housing Allowance: 500,000 KRW per month
