Job Description
1. Role and Responsibilities
As a kindergarten and elementary teacher at Little America, you will teach students from age 5 to elementary grade 6 a variety of subjects in English.
- Teach basic to advanced English reading, writing, speaking, and listening
- Follow GES education and IB PYP curriculums
- Guide students through a variety of subjects including language arts, math, science, art, coding, social studies, culture, and technology
- Help elementary students with test prep, Khan Academy, news and media, and AP courses
- Grade homework and give feedback
- Provide progress reports for parents
2. Candidate Qualifications
We are only hiring candidates inside of Korea.
E-2 Visa Holders
- Must be a citizen from the U.S.A. or Canada
F Visa Holders:
- We are only hiring F-2, F-5, F-6 visa holders.
- Must be a citizen from the U.S.A. or Canada
- Must have an apostilled diploma and an apostilled nationwide criminal background check within 6 months of issuance
3. Visa Sponsorship
E-2 visa sponsorship (English teaching visa) is provided.
4. Working Conditions
Training: February 15, 2021 (2 Weeks)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:50 AM-7:25 PM
Lunch Hour: 12-1:10 PM
Teaching Hours: 30 hours/week
5. Salary and Benefits
Salary: From 2.2 Million KRW~
Insurance and Financial: Insurance and pension will be matched by the employer
Contract Completion Bonus: Yes
Vacation: 10 days (summer vacation: 5 days; winter vacation: 5 days) + Korean national holidays
Housing: Provided studio in a new apartment building 5 minutes from the school

On your days off, you can also explore Seoul easily and visit trendy Hongdae. Right next to Gimpo is Ganghwa-do, a quiet, small island that offers great views of the ocean.
