About Us

Gwangju City Foreign Language Experience Center operates as a social education program to present new indicators of English education for youths who are the future leaders of the globalization and internationalization era. Based on the accumulated English education law of the first English-language newspaper in Korea, the goal is to ensure that students have global communication skills, creative thinking, and extensive knowledge that are essential in the era of globalization and globalization. In addition, we provide newspaper utilization education through the Herald English Newspaper so that students can learn and understand information from around the world in English from an early age, so that they can become the key parts of globalization. In order to achieve this, we are doing our best to improve the quality of English education, including developing new textbooks and programs that are compatible with reality, and training for instructors in and out of the country. Location

We're located in Gyeonggi-do Gwangju. You can take a walk to Gyeongancheon which is a beautiful river, go to Gwangnam Life Health Park where you can enjoy sports such as tennis and basketball. We're not too far from Seoul, so you can catch the Subway or a bus and explore the city easily.

 

Benefits

At the Gwanju Foreign Language Center you see your students 4-6 days a week and you can see their improvement and growth.

Salary: 2.3~ (Negotiable based on experience)

Vacation: 11 Days

Housing: One-room provided within walking distance of the school (8 min. by foot)

 

Job Overview

Working Hours: 9 AM - 6 PM

                             Week 1: Monday - Saturday (6 days)

                             Week 2: Tuesday - Friday (4 days)

Each week alternates, 6 days, 4 days, 6 days, 4 days, etc.

Age Range of Students: Kindergarten - Elementary

 

Candidate Requirements

  • 4-year bachelor's degree
  • Preferred: TEFL/TESOL Certified OR teaching experience OR Teaching certificate
  • Must be a citizen from United States, Canada, the U.K., the Republic of Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
  • Enjoys working with children
  • Has a bright personality
