Job Description

At ILS, we utilize and adopt the best education American curriculum certified by American education experts and organizations such as the McGraw-Hill School Education Group. We will continue to build a positive and healthy bilingual education environment for our children through scientifically-certified and internationally approved curriculum methods.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Native English Speaker from the (US, the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia, South Africa or New Zealand
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Someone who can start from June, July, August or September
  • Someone who has basic teaching experience, is pro-active, loves children, and has some understanding of the McGraw-Hill OCR Curriculum

 

Starting Date (Changeable, depending on remaining positions)

 

  • Mid-June (2 Candidates) – You can even apply and work as a couple
  • Mid-July (2 Candidates) - You can even apply and work as a couple

Support, Guidelines for teachers/New instructors
Nevertheless, the effects of such educational methods rely heavily on the role of our instructors and teachers. We do not withhold or enforce a certain teaching standard, but rather, offer as much freedom to our teachers to encourage pro-activity and creativity. We also have an effective system of allowing Korean and Native English teachers to cooperate. Finally, we have special training workshops operated by the McGraw-Hill Institute to provide professional development opportunities and demonstrations.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Working Hours:
    • 9:30 am ~ 6:30 pm (Monday ~ Thursday)
    • 9:30 am ~ 5:10 pm (Friday)
  • Paid Vacation: 10 days (Summer: 5 days, Winter: 5 days)
  • Housing: Provided (within walking distance to the school)
  • Insurance: 50% of the health insurance & national pension service

  • One way flight ticket (Your Destination to Korea)

  • Currently 10 Native English Teachers, and 6 Local Korean Teachers

Yongin is located within only a 20-minute distance from Seoul (by Subway or Bus) and is home to famous attractions such as the Korean Folk Village, Everland and Caribbean Bay.

You can easily travel in and out of Seoul from Jukjeon using the Seoul Subway (Bundang Line)
