The North Chungcheong Province, also known as Chungcheongbuk-do is a province located in the center of South Korea. The province is bounded on the west by Chungcheongnam-do province, on the north by Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do provinces, on the south by Jeollabuk-do province, and on the east by Gyeongsangbuk-do. Chungcheongbuk-do is the only land-locked province in South Korea.
The capital of Chungcheongbuk-do is Cheongju. Chungcheongbuk-do features attractions such as Guinasa Temple, Beopjusa Temple, Cheongnamdae, Chungju World, Woraksan National Park, and has mountains such as Mount Songni and Mount Worak.

If you are a fan of Jazz or music in general you can't miss the Jarasum International Jazz Festival! The festival is held every October on the beautiful Jaraseom Island in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. During the festival world-famous jazz artists come together to delight audiences with the smooth vibes of live jazz. As a Green Life Honorary Ambassador, the festival also promotes environmental protection. In order to share and connect with the community the festival holds a Gapyeong Band Contest, publishes a Gapyeong Restaurant Guidebook, and produces Jazz Makgeolli and Jazz Wine made from the region’s local products.
