Main sights: Bonghwasan Mountain
Located to the northeast of the Han River, Jungnang-gu is a green residential area with several mountains and historical sites. At 160m, Bonghwasan Mountain offers a great panoramic view of Seoul on this side of the river, as well as a number of trails, temples, and streams. Every spring on the 3rd day of the 3rd month of the lunar calendar, visitors can witness a villagers' exorcism rite - one of the oldest traditions of the Bonghwsan mountain community.
Newly modernized Jungnang Camping Forest is another cultural and natural space in the district used for picnics, outdoor performances, and art installations.
