Geumcheon-gu is a non-touristic area bordering Gwanak-gu and Guro-gu in the north. It has the highest concentration of big technology companies in Seoul. The Gasan Digital Complex Station is a busy commercial and business hub and is a great place to find IT products, souvenirs, good food and more.
The district also boasts a large shopping mall cluster known as Geumcheon Fashion Town offering everything from brand clothes to local produce.
Every April, Geumcheon-gu also holds the Geumcheon Cherry Blossom Festival on the Cherry Blossom Road. Seoul Art Space also serves to boost the cultural life of the residents and provide a place for young artists to showcase their works.

Ultra Music Festival Korea 2019
Ultra Music Festival Korea 2019 Date: 06.07~06.09 (Fri ~ Sun) Location: Everland Speedway (AMG Speedway) UMF Korea returns this year with a complete new location at Everland Speedway, in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do. This is a whole new change, compared to previous locations where it was held in Jamsil Sports Complex. UMF is different from other music festivals in that it runs for three days, starting from Friday, rather than the usual two-day Saturday-Sunday schedule. Visitors can enjoy Everland and its attractions nearby the festival, and there will be numerous shuttle bus services to help visitors (especially visitors from Seoul) commute in and out of the festival. As always, UMF Korea's Line-up this year is monumental, featuring headliner artists such as Martin Garrix (Friday), Skillrex (Saturday) and the re-united Swedish House Mafia (Sunday). Don't miss out on key performances such as the annual performance by Ultra Angels.
