Serving nothing but a sweet and spicy chicken stew called daktoritang, Pungnyeon Daktoritang is a favorite amongst office workers in the Seoul City Hall area. This bare bones restaurant is bustling with customers come dinner time and has been featured on numerous Korean food programs, including the most famous one, Suyomisikhwe. Tons of chicken, along with potatoes and green onion is braised in a shallow pot filled with a delicious sweet and spicy sauce. Make sure to order some fried rice towards the end of your meal, which is mixed with the sauce and cooked crisp in the pot, for an incredible final course.
