Korean Art Cuisine

I do not put the food on the plate, but the philosophy.

Located all the way up on the 50th floor of the notorious Federation of Korean Industries Building, Gotgan is a Michelin two-star restaurant specializing in traditional Korean cuisine. Its food utilizes fresh, organic, locally-sourced ingredients cooked using traditional methods that date back centuries. Its founder, chef Lee Jong-guk, is a famous food researcher and Gotgan is his first foray into the restaurant industry.

The restaurant has a diverse menu, serving classic Korean dishes such as bibimbap, galbi jjim (braised pork ribs), seafood, and tteokgalbi (grilled short ribs). Because of its high-up location, the restaurant has gorgeous views overlooking the Han River, making this a great date spot.
