Home of Little Prince

Petite France

쁘띠프랑스

This cute hidden village is like a tiny slice of France that was transported to the hillsides of the Korean countryside. Taking inspiration from the famous French novella, “The Little Prince”, Petite France hosts numerous cafes, art galleries, restaurants, experience halls, and even guesthouses all built in the style of a 19th-century French village. A street flea market with European antiques, melodies from a hundred-year-old Orgel, and a marionette performance on the square greet visitors to the park. Petite France also hosts a French Culture Center and youth training facility to promote French culture to Koreans.

Many famous dramas have also been shot at Petite France. The park has seen blooming romance and rivalry between the main characters of “Beethoven Virus”, “Secret Garden”, and “My Love from the Star”. Fans of the Korean variety show “Running Man” will be especially excited to revisit the narrow streets where the show’s cast played their ruthless game of tag with the members of 2PM. Located just a short distance from Nami Island, with a wonderful view overlooking the beautiful Cheongpyeong Lake, Petite France is a welcome respite from the pandemonium of Seoul.
