The motto of this restaurant is "to give all customers a kingly service". Its name, Yukjeon, originates from the title given to the king's butcher in one of the ancient Korean kingdoms. Likewise, at Yukjeon you will be treated like royalty, not having to lift a finger, while servers first show you the meat, packaged on site with a label indicating its weight and country of origin, then cook it to perfection. These servers have to go through a month of training before they're allowed to grill the meat for customers. Also, unlike most barbecue restaurants, where ssamjang and sesame oil are provided for condiments, Yukjeon also gives a special wasabi sauce to dip your meat in for a unique taste. They also provide free dwenjang jjigae with your meal, and during lunch hours offer a kimchi jjigae set meal.
