Shop 'til You Drop at Times Square

Times Square

Located just a short walk from Seoul’s busy Yeongdeungpo Station, Times Square is one of Korea’s largest multi-purpose shopping complexes, boasting an abundance of stores and facilities that attract hundreds of thousands of visitors every day. Opened in 2009, Times Square is home to a Shinsegae Department Store, E-Mart, Kyobo Bookstore, and a CGV Cinema that until 2015 was home to the world’s largest movie screen at 407.9㎡. There’s also a Courtyard Marriott Hotel situated in the heart of the complex.

Times Square offers a total of seven floors of shopping, with plenty of brand-name clothing, accessories, electronics, and lifestyle stores sprawled across this massive mall. Adidas, Vans, Aland, Uniqlo, Polo Ralph Lauren, Jordan, and so many other stores can be found here. For those looking for more high-end luxury shopping, there’s a Shinsegae Department Store, which takes up its own ten-floor building in the mall and stocks more than 500 domestic and international high-end brands. Times Square is also home to one of the city’s largest Kyobo Bookstores on the 2nd Floor, which stocks not only books and magazines, but also stationery, music, DVDs, and numerous electronics.

After a long hard day of shopping it’s important to have a bite to eat, and Times Square offers plenty of food options, with restaurants and cafes on every floor of the mall. Restaurants serving Korean, Western, and Asian cuisine are all open, leaving no one left unsatisfied. Times Square also boasts a number of entertainment options, including a large CGV Cinema on the 5th floor that’s home to one the world’s largest movie screens, as well as the CGV Shinhan Card Art Hall, which regularly hosts concerts, musicals, and other performances.  For some fresh air, head up to the mall's rooftop garden and relax in a green oasis in the heart of Seoul.
