Samhaejip in Jongno's famous Bossam Alley has been in business for over 35 years, parlaying this success into opening two more restaurants in Jonggak and Yeongdeungpo. It's specialty, like many restaurants in this alley, is gul bossam, or oyster and bossam (steamed pork belly). The oyster and bossam are eaten together with mumallaengi, or seasoned dried strips of radish, giving it an incredibly vibrant taste. Each order of gul bossam comes with a free pot of either gamjatang or spicy chicken stew, with unlimited refills.
