Lotte's Flagship Department Store in Myeongdong

Myeongdong Lotte Department Store

롯데백화점 본점

Lotte Department Store in Myeongdong is Lotte's first ever department store, having opened all the way back in 1979, and continues to operate as the company's flagship department store. It was truly a trailblazer in shopping when it first opened and continues to set new standards in the department store industry in Korea, with great customer service and an elegant interior. The store has a total of fourteen floors of shopping, stocking all the hottest brand-name items in clothing, accessories, and household items. It also has a duty free shop from the ninth to eleventh floors, along with numerous high-end restaurants and a culture center occupying the top three floors of the building.

Next to the Lotte Department Store is Lotte Young Plaza, which stocks fashion for kids and teenagers, and Lotte Department Store Avenuel, which stocks premium high-end luxury brands, all of which are interconnected through walkways. Lotte Department Store is also connected to the Lotte Hotel located behind the store. There are also a number of amenities located in the store, such as a stroller rental, an interpretation desk, currency exchange, ATMs, and free wi-fi, all of which make shopping at Lotte Department Store incredibly convenient.
