Compared to most malls and shopping complexes in the Dongdaemun area, Lotte FITIN is relatively new, having opened in 2013, and rather than house independent retailers and boutiques like most places in Dongdaemun, FITIN hosts established brands such as Nike, Uniqlo, and Polo, as well as many up-and-coming independent brands. While it's not as cheap as other places in Dongdaemun and you can't haggle the prices down, the fact that so many famous brand-name retailers are all under one roof makes shopping at FITIN very convenient. Combined with its very modern and spacious interior, it's an incredibly comfortable shopping experience.
FITIN isn't just home to retailers though. There's a bowling alley, screen baseball, massage chair cafe, and two large food courts, as well as a play area for kids on the B3 floor where you can drop them off while getting some shopping done. There's also a special Klive concert hall that hosts hologram concerts of some of the top K-Pop acts, as well as a beautiful food court designed by the famed interior designer, Karim Rashid, and stores selling an abundance of hallyu products. Tax refunds are also available to foreign tourists.
