Yangdong Village is the largest Korean traditional village, that includes approx. 160 old houses and thatched-roof cottages. It presents the appearance of the village as it looked in the 14th  and 15th century, showcasing the traditional culture of the Joseon Dynasty.
With its folklore materials and traditional architectural style that stays in harmony with the nature of surrounding mountains, it manifests the Neo-Confucian philosophy of the Joseon era.

Lunch Time
2:20 pm~3:20 pm

You will be given time for lunch at the restaurant area of the Bomun Tourist Complex.

4
Seokguram
3:50 pm~4:50 pm Seokguram
Constructed in the 8th century on the Mt. Tohamsan, Seokguram is a man-made, granite cave. 39 divinities carved inside surround a central monumental statue of the Buddha facing the sea.

With the exceptional architectural technique employed when assembling the ceiling of the main chamber and gods and Bodhisattvas finely sculpted in reliefs, the grotto is recognized as a masterpiece of Buddhist art.
5
Bulguksa Temple
5:10 pm~6:40 pm Bulguksa Temple
Nestled in the western foothills of Mt. Tohamsan, Bulguksa Temple is the representative relic of Gyeongju that was designated as a World Cultural Asset by UNESCO in 1995. This monumental work of art has been recognized through the world for its beauty and the artistic excellence of the stone relics.
Although made of stone, delicacy and lightness of the finely carved pagodas, pillars and balustrades of the temple make it resemble wooden elements and has been praised for its ornate beauty, unique structure, and creative artistry.
6
Anapji
7:00 pm~8:00 pm
Wolji Palace was the secondary palace site occupied by the Crown Prince of Silla and was used as a banquet site. It was abandoned after the fall of the kingdom and forgotten. The pond surrounding the palace was referred to as ‘Anapji’ during the following periods and regained the original name in the 1980s when a pottery fragment with lettering saying ‘Wolji' (a pond that reflects the moon) carved on it was found.
The beautiful lighting at night makes it a perfect place for nighttime walk and sightseeing, showcasing the elegance and majesty of Silla.
