Hanboks are the traditional garment of Korea - literally meaning 'Korean clothes'. This type of clothing was worn exclusively until Korea started to become westernized. Yet, this style of clothing is still popular at traditional holidays and events.

Once you arrive at the shop, you will be able to choose the style of the hanbok you would like to wear, which vary immensely in color. The Hanbok are also available in a variety of sizes, and available for children.

One of the most famous dishes of Korea, bibimbap, originates from Jeonju. Here you will be able to try the dish which uses the local delicacy mung bean sprout jelly.

If you are one for a drink, we recommend that you taste Korea's popular rice wine, 'makgeolli', traditionally served in a metal kettle and best paired with Korean savory pancakes, 'pajeon'.

Return your Hanbok at the same location.

Jeonju Traditional Hanbok Photoshoot Experience

About:   Hello, my name is a Myeong Han. I am a professional photographer and a cultural planner based in the Hanok Village of Jeonju. I will take you on a full Hanbok—Korean traditional costume—experience and will capture your memories in a photo shoot. When visiting Korea, this is one of the first things you should experience. Even to Korean people, Jeonju is known as "the Heart of the True Korean Dynasty."   The Hanok Village is especially famous for preserving Korean tradition—from food and buildings to crafts and music. Be sure to visit me at Jeonju, Hanok Village to feel the true spirit of Korea.
