The Changdeokgung Palace store is only a minute away from Changdeokgung Palace,  the only ancient Korean palace that was selected by the UN as a World Heritage site.

* You will be given 30 minutes to choose and change into your Hanbok

* You will be able to try on up to two sets of Hanbok

 

You must hand in your ID, or passport as a form of deposit during your rental. Don't forget to take back your ID.

  • Changing rooms are available for visitors to use 
  • For Women: Jeo-go-ri (tops for women) are available in sizes varying from 44-99
  • Ask the staff for assistance wearing your Hanbok
  • We offer free hair-styling service which you can select
  • Hair accessories are available at an extra fee (paid on site)
  • Refer to the prices section to see the prices for each accessory
  • After making your final payment, one person in the group must keep his/her ID with the staff until the rented hanboks are returned 
  • You are now free to go anywhere with your Hanbok
  • You can visit the nearby historic and cultural sites such as Insadong or Gyeongbokgung Palace
    • Note that opening hours of each site may vary so make sure to check them beforehand!
  • Or you can stay inside and take a look at the experiential activities! There is also a photo zone corner for you and your friends to take photos
  • Return your Hanbok at the same location and retrieve your ID
  • Please be punctual and note that there is an extra late fee for every 10 minutes overdue

    • For Themed Hanbok: ₩ 2,000 / Per 10 Minutes
  • Do not damage the Hanbok or lose any accessories

How To Use

  • Print out or show the voucher on your mobile device at the Hanbok rental location.
  • Please arrive at least 10 mins before your scheduled time.
  • Voucher Validity:  Only on the chosen date.
  • Your passport or ID may be needed to confirm your identity.

Additional Information

  • Adult and child prices are the same.
  • You will be wearing rented Hanbok/accessories.
    • Do not attempt to purposely damage the clothing or lose the accessories.
    • You will be required to pay compensation fees if you do so.
  • Please be punctual when returning your Hanbok.
    • You will be required to pay overdue charges every 10 minutes late.
  • Make sure to check the opening hours of nearby attractions (Insadong, Gyeongbok Palace) beforehand.
    • For instance, entrance to the Gyeongbokgung Palace during the evening is free for those who are wearing Hanbok!
  • Follow the staff's instructions regarding Hanbok rental (sizes, measurements, styling, make-up, etc).
