Everland Resort

Category : Amusement Parks
Sep 08, 2015

Everland Resort opened in 1976 as the first family amusement park in Korea.
It was originally called the 'Yongin Jayeon Nongwon' but was later changed to 'Everland'
to make it easier for foreigners to recognize or remember the name of the park.

The park has more than 40 rides that are built for those who are ready for some extreme
adventure, to those who have a weak heart, and also for many families who wants to
spend a happy time with their kids.

Apart from the rides, the Everland Park also have the 'Safari World' where visitors get to
ride of safari cars and get closer with the wild animals such as tigers, lions, bears, and many
more.

Everland transforms the park according to season. One of the best time to visit Everland is
during spring where they exhibit a large garden of tulips of different colors. During October,
Everland is decorated to create the spirit of Halloween season, where ghost-like decorations
and pumpkins on poles are scattered all over the area.

Right beside Everland is another amusement park which is directed to those who prefer playing
with water - the Carribean bay. Both Carribean bay and Everland are managed by the same company
that is Samsung.
