Live Traditional Music in the Heart of Seoul

The Pre &Free Traditional Music Festival will take place from March 3rd until May 27th at the Seoul Donhwamun Traditional Theater. Performances this year are categorized by target audience. Performances were specially designed with different audiences in mind and this year's target audiences include children, youth, housewives, senior citizens, and foreign visitors. 52 performances are scheduled to take place throughout the festival's three month-long run.

Additionally, the special Citizens' Gugak Week will take place in April. It is a special week of performances by amateur gugak musicians, regular citizens who love and play gugak.
