A new oasis of culture and art in Hannam-dong

In 1996, Daelim Cultural Foundation opened Daelim Museum, Korea's first specialist photography museum and the successor of Hallim Museum. Since then,
Daelim Museum has introduced a variety of creative concepts and forms in contemporary photography and design, now established as an art form within our
everyday lives. Its innovative exhibitions, accompanied by a range of cultural and educational programs, have built a rapport with numerous viewers.
In 2016, to mark the 20th anniversary of Daelim Museum, the foundation opened D Museum on Dokseodang-ro Street in Seoul's Hannam-dong neighborhood.
The new museum, a larger venue, strives to bring still more people into contact with the kinds of content exhibited until now at Daelim Museum,
providing high-quality cultural and artistic experiences.
