WANTED! NON-KOREAN VOLUNTEERS FOR MONITORING PROGRAMS OF 

2016 HANGANG SUMMER FESTIVAL

 

 

 

 

 

There's a chance to experience a volunteer work and be a part of Han River Festivals this summer!

Foreign volunteers are needed! Sign up for a unique experience!

 

2016 Hangang Summer Festival will be held from July 15 to August 21 at the Han River or Hangang.
We are looking for non-Koreans who will be volunteering during the festival.
Out of approximately 80 events that will be provided during the festival, you can choose one that better suits your schedule
As a volunteer, you will be participating in the program of your choice and doing a monitoring job on the program.



Volunteers who will be monitoring the festival programs should participate in a pre-interview & orientation (June 18 and July 8),
festival opening ceremony (July 15), and the program you applied for.
(You can ...choose any program that best fits your schedule but if the number of volunteers who applied for the program you chose is too large,
you may have to choose another program.)

 

 

 


l. Application Period
May 28 to 4 pm, June 16 (THUS), 2016
We will contact applicants who passed the screening from June 16 and provide more details on the orientation.

 

 


ll. Qualification
Non-Koreans who can attend training before the festival and volunteer for at least one program of Hangang Summer Festival (July to August).

 

 


lll. Training Schedule
- Pre-interview & orientation:
ㆍFirst session: 1 pm, June 18 (SAT)
ㆍSecond session: 5 pm, July 8 (FRI) at Taepyeoung Hall, B2, Citizens Hall, Seoul City Hall
- Festival opening ceremony: 5 pm, July 15 (FRI) at Yeouido Han River Park
- You can choose a specific program in which you want to participate

 

 


lV. Benefits & Duty

- Opportunity to enjoy festival programs for free
- Free meal and uniform
- Volunteer hours you served will be officially certified and the most outstanding volunteer/team will be awarded



- Monitoring on the program in which you participated
- Participating in the festival opening ceremony performance
