Before the breathtaking fireworks burst high up in the sky, the magical Fireworks Village will open in Yeouido.
‘Fireworks Road’, which runs through Fireworks Village from Yeouinaru Station to Wonhyo Bridge,
hosts a variety of events and performances during the daytime, inviting visitors to participate.
When the sun sets, light and color sparkling to beautiful music creates an enchanting mood,
setting it apart from the daytime bustle.
Be sure to catch the unique joy of both day and night on Fireworks Road.
Opening Ceremony / 19:00~19:20
At 7 p.m., the hearts of everyone gathered at Yeouido Han River Park
will spark with the dazzling display of fireworks.
Crowd movement may be restricted due to congestion once the opening ceremony begins,
so please make sure to follow all safety instructions and take your seat before the opening ceremony kicks off!

Enjoy Japan’s unique Aerial Shell, which invites you to a dazzling feast of changing colors and views.

The music selected especially for Seoul International Fireworks Festival 2016
will express the Spain team’s unique passion and intensity.
The fireworks displaying dynamic showmanship will create
the mysterious impression that the fireworks are dancing to the exciting beats of the music.
The show will be highlighted by extensive and colorful fireworks,
culminating in a gigantic gold display that symbolizes a sunrise.

under the theme ‘Magical Fireworks’.
The fireworks magician delivers a message of hope
and happiness by telling a story about the Fireworks Village and Fireworks Festival.

After Party & Clean Campaign / 20:40~21:30
After fireworks show, an exciting DJ performance has been prepared, so you can stay and cherish
the special memories of the fireworks show.
Join Hanwha’s ‘Clean Campaign’ as you leave the festival.
Please make sure to pick up the litter around you,
put it into one of the bags provided at the site and put the bag into the designated litter bin!
Your voluntary participation completes the Fireworks Festival.
On the day of the festival, traffic across Yeouidong-ro, Yeouido will be controlled,
so be advised to use public transportation and check detour routes in advance!
Traveling by subway is recommended due to traffic control and congestion.
* In order to minimize risks of accidents, Line 5 Yeouinaru Station will be closed temporarily,
for one hour upon conclusion of the event. Please access neighboring stations instead.

There are a total of 23 bus lines to Yeouido, including 2 shuttle buses, 7 blue buses, 8 green buses, 1 airport limousine and 5 Gyeonggi buses. However, the Yeouinaru, Yeouido Middle School and 63 Building stops will not be available due to traffic control, so please access nearby bus stops such as MBC and Sujeong APT.

On the day of the festival, nearby roads will be heavily congested and illegal parking enforcement will be strictly maintained. The car park at Han River Park in front of the 63 Building will be completely closed, so please check nearby car park availability if you must drive your own car.
During the designated time when subway trains will pass through Yeouinaru Station without stopping, enjoy the ‘After Party’ or go to nearby subway stations.
To minimize the risk of accidents, Yeouinaru Station will be closed for one hour upon the completion of the event. Instead of wasting time waiting at the station, come and join the ‘After Party’ taking place at the Fireworks Theater. Immerse yourself in the dynamic beats of the music and you will not even realize when Yeouinaru Station is up and running again! Those who have to return early are advised to access other nearby stations such as Saetgang and Yeouinaru. Don’t forget to buy a ticket in advance!
Taxi available after 10pm.
Taxis to Yeouinaru Station are only available after the traffic control is completely finished. Please use them after 10 p.m. to avoid congestion.
Those who come by bicycle are recommended to watch the fireworks from the outskirts of the event space for the purpose of ease of exit.
Bicycle use is restricted within the event space.
