2 Unions or Seoul Metro which organize line 1 to 4 and the union of Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation which is in charge of line 5 to 8 are participating.
Line 9 will be on normal schedule. They are against the policy of annual salary system by performance and other issues.
But during the rush hour, trains and schedules will be as usual. Seoul city will reduce runs during the afternoon to 80~85% from Sep 27 to Oct 3, 70% from Oct 4 for safety reasons due to overwork by substitute workers.
As an alternative, there will be additional 150 city buses in subway-bus linked sections. 15,000 taxis will also be in run by removing taxi rotation restrictions during this period.
